What's this site about?

It's all news, all types from all around! News stories and articles are dynamically collected from sources all around the globe and organized into familiar categories such as Headlines, Business, Sports, Technology, Medicine and Health, Travel, Entertainment, and Science. Only the most recent stories are presented from each source to keep the information fresh and concise.

How do I choose a news source?

There are a number of available news sources for each category. Simply move the mouse over the category listed on the main menu and a number of choices will display in a drop down menu. Choose the news source that interests you by simply clicking it. The content is fresh; you can get any late breaking news for the current page you are viewing by refreshing or reloading the page from your browser menu.

How is news collected?

Several years ago a format identified as RSS was defined as a method to syndicate news. Today any news or news-like source can publish RSS format content and allow specially written software to interpret, identify and display that content by the criteria it chooses. As more and more publishers incorporate RSS into their regular syndication patterns, the greater the choices for readers to collect exactly what they want.

What's coming up?

There are already a number of great news sources available on the menu, but of course there's lots of room for more. We are constantly on the quest to find great ones to add. In the near future we will add a "suggestion box" to allow you to suggest a news source to evaluate. Another feature we are evaluating is an "open forum" to allow you to comment on recent events and subjects. Lots of other ideas are already in the works. Visit us often to see what we are up to.
